Last week I had the chance to host a Pinkberry Party with a site called Crowdtap .
When I was first selected for to host, I knew I wanted to do a fun for the whole family theme. When we got to Pinkberry we chose our yogurt/toppings based on our outfits and accessories. It was a lot of fun.
Ben wore his swimsuit (we were going to go to the pool afterwords) so he got the mango yogurt with all the fresh fruits. Kenzie named his creation, "summer fun."
Next up was Mackenzie. She chose to wear her new pink bling to Pinkberry. When she saw all the pink and purple choices inside the store, she was excited! She chose the pomegranate yogurt with strawberries, raspberries, and pink chocolate candies. It was so good she ate the entire thing! She appropriately named her creation "Pink Princess."
Ian wanted everything in the place ;) He finally decided on watermelon yogurt with bananas and the same pink chocolate candies that Mackenzie chose. When I asked him what he thought his creation should be named, he responded with "Batman Nummy!" If you know Ian, you know that that answer carries his seal of approval!
We were happy the Jen was able to make it. She decided that in honor of the upcoming July 4th holiday, she would make a patriotic choice. She picked pomegranate yogurt with strawberries and blueberries. They matched her blue shirt perfectly :) Mackenzie had fun naming Jen's yogurt, "I Pledge Allegiance to the Pinkberry."
And last, but not least, was Mady. Since she is is just a little girl, her mommy had to help her finish her creation ;P She had the original yogurt with blueberries and fruity pebbles. Her mom figured that since her creation looked like a meal, she would name it "Just as Good as Breakfast."
We had a fantastic time at Pinkberry and we can't wait to go back!

Parents
One of my favorite things about December is sending and receiving Christmas Cards. Every year I do our family card and I like to do one for my parents too. This year I took them out to an old Civil War Fort that was built by the Union to protect Washington DC for a little photoshoot.
This is the picture that made the front of their card:
I took a couple individual pictures, you know, so they could have new FB profile pics ;)
And finally, one with the grandkids. This one appeared on the back of their card:
